June 2010

This time last year we were finishing uni and taking down our work at P3 ready for exhibiting our work at the D&AD. It’s be really strange how one year has already gone so fast………My day started with the realisation that I missed out on the Westminster BA Illustration 2010 Degree show which for some reason only lasted for two days. Ah my bad.

Well anyway I decided to check out Central Saint Martins BA Graphic Design show down at Shoreditch High Street today and I was pretty impressed with what the students produced.

There was a variety of work to look at and how each student has taken their own personal approach to graphic design/ visual communication as a whole which made the show all the more interesting. From glitchy animations to installations I particularly loved the works above and below. Unfortunately I didn’t write down any of the students names so massive apologies for images with no credit!

There was a section about illustration and I think it was more to do with a module or something (please feel free to correct me as I was absorbing all the lovely work i didn’t read the info, gaaah!!) The images below are from this section.

I had to pull myself away from the shop, there was so many prints for sale and quirky handmade books. All I have to say is well done guys!

More photos of the show here.
