Well I had a right good old time at Pick Me Up graphic art exhibition at Somserset House a few weeks ago. I went along with a few illustrators which we organised on Twitter (it was like playing Guess Who.) I met up with Emma Block, Rachel Lewis, Rachel Clare Price and my uni friends (whole illustration crew) of course as follows June, Emily, Emma , Vinesh, Chrissy and the lovely Fuad. 🙂 Hmm don’t think I missed anyone out.
Excuse the crappy photos, I was way too lazy to be getting out my SLR camera which was why I brought it along in the first place.
After walking around for a while we all headed over to Nando’s to grab some food so all in all it was a great day out!
I’ve spent all morning painting these bags and watching Jeremy Kyle and This Morning. Very therapeutic indeed. These bags are for an upcoming Canvas bag exhibition for 20-21 Visual Arts Centre .
The exhibition will be starting on the 22nd January running until 30 April…. so I need to wait for them to dry, iron them and get them posted asap!
Hello everyone! Having a good weekend? I am, well sort of. Anyways I’m part of the Mail Me Art Project, the envelop above is what I submitted. And although I never managed to go to the opening night from the photos it looked really good. I can’t wait until the book comes out I’m so excited!
This Sunday I was busy printing out stuff and basically getting ready to send out some goodies to The Spider and the Fly pop up Gallery in Edinburgh. The temporary gallery is organised by Magpie who are a bunch of creatives promoting independent artists and designers and host their own art and craft events.
