I recently did some illustrations for The Student Pocket Guide , which was an article about cheap date ideas. I really like how the illustrations turned out as well!
It was really good to be doing illustrations that weren’t related to what I usually do as I figured that I need to focus more on drawing people and objects in general.
I want to start incorporating text with images as I feel as though my work in general needs more ground work to it i.e., I’d like to do picture books or something in the long run… Wait and see!
I have also added it as a print in my Etsy shop, which comes in two sizes: A4 and A3.

Well, I quit my full-time job and at the moment I’ve been utilising the time that I have to update my awful-looking CV and portfolio as well as making a few more illustrations here and there.
I’ve also been dabbling around with a bit of type work as I’d like to experiment more with it.
In between with finding private work and making more illustrations, I’m for now not panicking about money. Just yet. I think I should enjoy the time that I have in doing more things I never had time for. Positive thinking!
