Local Blend on Green Lanes
This afternoon I went to Local Blend, a lovely cafe on Green Lanes (Harringay area). If you’re not familiar with Green Lanes basically it’s a massive road that has loads and loads of amazing Turkish restaurants, late night newsagents and random wedding dress shops.
I wandered down Green Lanes yesterday towards Wood Green and I happened to walk by Local Blend. Being a massive coffee addict I had to check it out before I moved out. It’s a really nice open space; air con in this weather is a bonus! I ordered a flat white and a carrot and courgette cake and I have to say the cake was so tasty.
I’ll definitely be back for another cake!

Getting back into drawing birds again, ah yes! A lot of my most recent work has been self-defined projects and less commissioned work.

Illustration Friday: Jungle
I’ve not submitted anything for Illustration Friday so it’s been quite nice to do something fun!
Packing is slowly coming along… flat looks like a right bomb sight as well. Not long to go now, only two weeks until we move out! OMG.
Free Things
We’re moving out pretty soon and I need to get rid of a lot of things. My parents won’t exactly be pleased if I used their house as a dumping ground!
I have lots of very good quality A1 mount card and paper, old and used art equipment, pads of paper plus portfolio folders. I’m giving everything away for free as I’m not intending to make money out of it. I just want to get rid of stuff!
