London

It’s been a busy week for everyone (how many times have I said that?) Anyway here are some photos of Sorted. To see more go over to my Flickr page. Couldn’t be bothered to upload the same ones over here!

It’s running until tomorrow folks so go and check it out, there’s lots of lovely things for sale so why not treat yourself to something special?

I’ve been a tad busy over the past few days to write up about Sorted private review (which was good by the way!) This is a quick round up of Sorted so far. And I’d like to mention that I didn’t take any photos during the night because I stupidly left my SLR camera at home, doh! And I drank loads of wine on the night as well.

The day before the private view I was proper stressing out about the layout of my pieces! I spent about two hours dossing around and not doing much then spent about another 4 hours running around! But Che, Emma, Lucy, Katie, El, Carne and Chrissy and a few other people I managed to rope in helped me out. I would like to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU for helping me putting my frames up and getting everyone’s opinions about my work. I can honestly say if I was left to my own devices I would’ve mucked it up. Big time.

Back to the private view now….There was a great turn out of people which we never expected;  Ballad Of, Amelia Gregory, Rachel Lewis and loads more people arrived which was fantastic! It did get a bit sweaty in the gallery but a few people stood outside to get some fresh air, have a good old chat and grab a bagel!

Saying that though it was good to talk to people about my work and to explain the process. Plus this has been my first exhibition since I graduated so it also meant a lot to me. Overall there’s a variety of work exhibited from fine art to illustration which works as one.

I’d also like to say thanks to Ballad Of, Amelia’s Magazine and Grafik Magazine for listing and writing a review about Sorted. Sorted is running until Wednesday 15th June so you still have time to see it and buy some amazing art work on display.

There’ll also be photos of the gallery coming soon but I’m  off out tonight so won’t have the time…..

We will be opening it’s doors to you lovely people on Thursday June 9th from 6.00 – 9.30pm for a private view you won’t forget!
We will be displaying a variety of artwork from ten of Britain’s finest up and coming artists and illustrators.
Limited Edition prints of our work will be on sale as well as lots of FREE goodies for you and your friends to take home with you!

There will also be a bar stocked up to the brim with ice cold beers and wine – Mmm… Just what you need after a long hot Thursday at work.

For more information head over to the Sorted Facebook event and you can also forward it on to anyone who might be interested.

And from all of us we hope to see you on the night!

It’s a round up of ACOFI Book Launch at Tatty Devine! Amelia invited me, June and Gemma to do live drawings on Tatty Devine’s shop window. Unfortunately I was a tad late, by about an hour! However I didn’t miss a thing as I got the chance to eat some delicious cup cakes and listen to Amelia’s talk. And yes I managed to squeeze in a bird doodle!

All in all it was grand! x
