I’ve been busy doing stuff for other people and not had the proper time to focus on my major project…ooops, it’s gona be long nights with coffee and Red Bull! I’ve really been enjoying my placement with Gia london helping them to design new pages for their website and it’s going well 🙂 plus using lush fabrics for the work too which has been fun.

We went to the Kinetica Art Fair last Saturday at P3 (Baker st) and there were some amazing stuff with art, sound and light fused together. There where some really beautifal pieces, the bird/arms work (see above) was creepy! It kept on moving very slowly in a jaunty way (i shudder…)Well worth checking out the website anyways.

We will also be having our degree show there in the Summer-ish so watch this space.xx

So gutted, missed Jeremy Kyle show yesterday, due to my inability to look and read! I should not organise things. Managed to get up at 6am and be on time until i realised we were in the wrong place (should have been at Victoria instead on Baker Street.) So disappointing I was going to cry!

Never mind we have tickets to go see Loose Women in April, still I’m determined to see the Jeremy Kyle show.

I love Deptford Market, i went there today and there’s so much random and old junk which I like! i was a bit worried that I was going to miss out as I managed to set off late as usual but was there for a while rummaging around so many lovely things.

I picked up some vintage envelopes (really cheap) and spent ages looking through the boxes, a dress for a quid (niiice) and a little hold all bag full of hair, I must have spent so little as well! i was trying to hunt down some old letters, postcards and photos but they sold out apparently, never mind will be there soon. Although it’s a bit sad going through soemones diary and notebooks from the 1950’s…

…not forgetting the weird shop signs of course.

Gumtree ad

I have posted some ads on Gumtree looking for work. i need a real job. (I’ve had some deeeep conversations about what I’m going to do after uni…) Something like:

a. Live in London, well somewhere cheap since we’ll be paying te dreaded council tax, squat maybe….

b. I was thinking about going to Hong Kong for a while to do a teaching course, the plan was to stay there for a year and find work out there. only my mate told me the creative indutries aren’t that good. So that’s that. Living in Hong Kong would be pretty fun.

C. going back home although Doncaster is pretty scummy. Even if i go back and work for a year i hate it 🙁

Will keep my options open, being an illustrator takes a long time to establish unless if you’re super duper talented knowing the right ppl tis the thing. i’m looking forward to finishing, there’s a point where studying gets to you. Anyway onwards with work (uni.) xx
